Princes Farmhouse holiday cottage

Our holiday cottage is on the South Devon coast in Wembury parish, near Plymouth Sound

Our coastal hideaway is a self catering cottage called The Granary. It is compact and the ideal place for couples wanting peace and quiet… and you can stay in touch or stream movies with our WiFi.

The Granary holiday accommodation is attached to our 17th century Grade II listed farmhouse. Walter Prynne lived here between 1617 and 1685. His father, William Prynne may have even seen the Mayflower set sail for America from the nearby cliffs.

There are over two acres of orchard, paddock and gardens for you to explore. We keep it pretty wild here at Princes Farmhouse Granary and have replaced hedgerows that were lost and planted trees to create shelter belts and wildlife corridors.

To take advantage of the countryside views and late evening sun, the Granary living area is upstairs. You can access the cottage via a flight of stone steps to the first floor or a door on the ground floor.

Leading down from the dining area the internal stairs take you down into the pretty bedroom with king size bed.

You have your own private formal garden, but are free to explore the rest of Princes Farmhouse grounds – ideal for a secluded picnic in long grass.

The Granary holiday cottage is not just a summer holiday destination. The cottage is available all year around and there’s nothing better than snuggling up in front of the stove fire after an exhilarating walk along the South West coast path.
